AndroidLesson101

‪#‎AndroidLesson101‬ Battery Saving Most of us are fed up from the low battery life our new 'smart' phones provide We tend to download loads of battery savers just to check how mucb battery can we save Here are a few tricks u can use: 1. Switch off wifi/gps/data when not in use 2. Decrease screen brightness whenever u are inside a room and dont need full brightness 3. Click the back button instead of home when exiting apps as the apps run in background eating up processor which inturn eats ur battery 4. Listen to music in earphones 5. Use alternative apps that use less RAM (eg. Use friendcaster instead of official fb app) ‪#‎WhatMostBatterySaversDo‬ They do the same things as above (except the ones that ask root permissions*) Moreover they too eat up a part of RAM and processor as they are consistent in background So, no need for such apps unless u live by every sec and cant afford exiting apps manually *the apps which ask for root sometimes apply tweaks in init.d scripts or sysctl file to reduce battery use by processor etc, sometyms by using governers and all That methods are too complex to perform manually on a daily basis
